This is why Jason Mraz is one of my favorite singers ever... cause he can "play the trumpet". And Toca can do anything but he "plays the trombone". So good. And this is one of my favorite Jason songs.
Jason Mraz - Life Is Wonderful (Live)
They are just fantastic.

family vs. family
this moment is very comical.
the jeans and t-shirts vs. the button downs and slacks.
this double life brings nothing but laughs.
the uptight end vs. face down on the floor.
drinks consist of carbon and sugar
while the other consists of 80 proof and a straw.
how did we get stuck in this mess?
stuffing our faces to avoid spitting out controversey.
why is this so painful? i will bite my tongue
and find a happy place.
sectioned off groups, dirty looks and people we barely know.
so this is what you call family?
the holidays full of spite... and denim.
i'm sick of finding reasons not to come around.
do they even know the real me?
i guess it doesn't matter, i don't know them either.
i stopped expecting things from this side,a long time ago.
the amount of love in this so called name,
i can count it on one hand.
i overfill my lungs with smoke to avoidsitting next to one of them.
one of those so called 'relatives'.
one of the people that i barely even know.

I have found it...
So guess what?! I have found it... the dog of my dreams. They are the smallest most adorable dogs in all the world. They are called a Scotti-poo or a scoodle. It's a mix between a Scotti dog and a Toy Poodle. They are flippin fantastic. The only problem... I'm allergic to dogs. But i am going to find a way around that if i have to take a whole box of drugs. I want this dog so bad. And i think it's time.

Buffalo...The City of Amazing People.
This is my first time posting a blog and I have just the story to start it all off with... so here it goes.
So today was a crazy winter day filled with tons of snow. Stores and schools were closed and there were driving bans everywhere. Nothing out of the norm for Buffalo. I was at my friend Jills house (who lives right around the corner from me) and was getting ready to leave... this was at 10pm.
I drove down the street and stopped at the stop sign like I normally would... this was a bad idea apparently because I ended up getting stuck in a huge pile of snow. This was not the first time this happened today. Earlier in the day I got stuck coming to Jills house and a nice man helped me out... but now it was ten o'clock at night in the middle of a storm with hardly anyone out. So I called my dad.
While I was waiting for my dad I decided to count how many cars went by to see if anyone would stop and help me. Six cars went by before anyone stopped! I was this nice woman in an SUV who lived a street over and offered to go get shovels and help dig me out. I told her that my dad was on his way but she insisted. So she said she would be right back.
Now I was waiting for my dad and this nice woman off the street to come back and help me when another car got stuck just a house or two down from where I was. My dad finally showed up and started shoveling me out as well as the stranger lady. No luck. The three guys that were in the other car that got stuck ended up coming over to help shovel me out... with hockey sticks! Isn't that a classic Buffalonian... no shovel in the car... only hockey sticks... yet they still come over and offer to help. That's why I love Buffalo. :]
Anyway... My dad, the stranger lady, and the three hockey guys all worked together until finally my car was out. We drove it home and then went back to help the guys get their car out. That was a process... But after a lot of shoveling, digging, and pushing we got their car out too.
It was a very cold and windy night. My hair was frozen and I had snow up to my hips, but it warmed my heart to see perfect strangers, who probably had better things to do, stop and help me get unstuck from the snow... even without the right equipment. They didn't have to do that, but out of the goodness of their hearts they did... and that's why no matter where I go, I will always come back to Buffalo.
